AI Video Production
For three decades, I've been designing for some of the biggest names in the world, and now I can reveal that I've added something powerful to my toolkit: AI video production.
Not as a gimmick. Not to replace great creative thinking. But because the brands winning right now are the ones moving with the times and evolving.
My Own Proof of Concept
I've just finished my own self-promo video — built entirely using AI — and it's the clearest demonstration I can give you of what this looks like when 30 years of design knowledge meets cutting-edge technology.
Sony ULT Wear
I recently bought a pair of Sony ULT WEAR headphones (genuinely great, by the way) and used them as an excuse to flex my AI video skills with a mock advert. To be clear: this isn't a real Sony campaign, and neither Sony nor Fleetwood Mac had anything to do with it — just me having fun with the tech. (Though if either of you are reading this... you know where to find me.)
AI Tests
A few experiments below — not client work, just me stress-testing different camera moves, colour grading and animation styles to see what's possible. Consider it the R&D behind the polished stuff above.
Padel Bullet Time
A padel player is frozen mid-leap in a bullet-time court orbit, until time releases and he smashes the ball straight through the camera.
Lego Animation
The camera rockets up a LEGO cliff face and storm-battered ocean before arcing round to reveal a LEGO rockstar minifigure shredding his guitar defiantly into the storm.
Blueprint To Life
A hand-drawn Jaguar D-Type sketch transforms into a photorealistic 3D model in a single sweeping camera arc, from pencil lines to glossy racing green paint and a purring engine.
Product Closeup
An extreme macro shot of a Longines Pilot Majetek watch held between two fingers, with moody directional lighting revealing every scratch, texture and reflection on its dial and case.
Drone Fly Through
A cinematic drone flythrough weaves organically through a pastel-toned, retro-futuristic Chinese cityscape, banking and dipping between neon-lit alleys and towers.
F1 Tracking Shot
A Formula 1 car tears down the straight in a single tracking shot, camera and car moving as one before a sharp push-in reveals the driver's focus at speed.
The Footballer
1. A Hero's Return
Professional footballers are built different. The dramatics never stop - even at home. If you've ever watched football and thought the theatrics were a bit much, this one's for you.
2. My Body Is A Temple
While the world's eyes are on the World Cup, we go behind the curtain to meet football's most dedicated athlete, Parker Mandew.
Want this for your brand?
If you've watched this far, you've already seen more range than most agencies will show you in a first meeting. Whether it's a full concept video, a product spot, or something experimental like the tests above — I'd love to talk about what AI video could do for you.
